TD Travel Rewards Review

Travel rewards are the most popular type of reward credit cards in North America.  Most reward programs offer travel rewards in the form of flights, cruises, holiday packages, hotels and rentals cars.  While the most popular reward programs in the country are Air Miles and Aeroplan, several banks and credit card issuers offer their own programs that can be fairly lucrative.

Final Thoughts

Unfortunately, none of these cards made the top ten list of best travel rewards credit cards in Canada.  Still, the TD Travel Rewards program offers solid travel rewards for individuals who can spend over $2,500 a month of their credit card and who travel fairly frequently to take advantage of the triple rewards received by booking directly through the TD Travel Rewards centre.

Earning 2% rebates before fees is decent, so check out the TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite Card if you are interested in collecting travel rewards and book a lot of travel throughout the year.  I wouldn’t waste my time with the basic TD Classic Travel Visa option, as there are much better no fee rewards cards out there that will earn you at least 1% back in rebates.
